Grant Project Manager

Rio Grande Community College is seeking a Project Manager to manage a $2.8 million-dollar three-year Federal Grant Project located primarily at the Fultz Center in Pomeroy Ohio (Meigs County). The POWER grant will add expand the currently facility and add programming to the Meigs Center. JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Project Manager will direct the operations of Project POWER, and administer all aspects of the grant to ensure compliance with funders, auditors, and other external agencies. This includes, but is not limited to:
Assist the COO and Meigs Center Director with construction oversight as needed to establish facility. Work as liaison with partners to coordinate programming and scheduling. Work as liaison with partners to coordinate equipment purchases Work as liaison with partner high schools on bilateral and dual credit agreements Work closely with Meigs Center Director on coordination of scheduling with the Fultz Center. Responsible for outreach and recruitment for new programming, with support and assistance from admissions and marketing. Ensure appropriate record keeping of all grant expenditures Ensure RGCC procurement policies are followed for all grant funds Complete grant reports in a timely fashion Track and record student completion of all grant participants Maintain all grant documents and reporting Others duties as necessary for success of Project POWER QUALIFICATIONS Completion of Bachelor's Degree required, with Master's Degree preferred Five (5) years experience in higher education or career technical education with an emphasis on operational or project management Strong written and oral communication skills Experience working in professional groups and teams Experience working with federal grant dollars preferred Experience working with adult learners is a plus APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Qualified applicants must send a cover letter (detailing their interest and qualifications), current resume, as well as the names and contact information of at least three professional references to Rebecca Long, Chief Operating Officer.
